Most UK consumers are already in search of organic hair care products. Not every product nonetheless that is tagged as “organic” should be immediately translated as 100% natural. In terms of Natural Organic Haircare, one German organization, or BDIH, has created important guidelines in ensuring the quality of organic products all over Europe. This association has listed a few ingredients which should not be used in any organic product. Among these are dyes, chemical fragrances, and silicon, among others. It is important therefore for any brand to disclose all of the ingredients used for their products. Testing on animals is moreover forbidden by BDIH.
